[DD II : The Revenge]

So much nostalgia!

WOW...one of my fondest memories of my childhood was playing one of my favorite games ever, Double Dragon 2. When i saw how perfect you captured its essence (while at the same time exagerating it a bit hehe) i got goosebumps all over.

Then i started thinking, if this guy REALLY knows DD2 he should put the final boss with that final boss music which is probably the best final boss song EVER. The I got to the part where they are about to fight him and everything goes black...and then the song kicks in....man, i almost shed a tear!! DD2 is amazing. Thanks for making this movie!

[Neighboring Nations]

Finally...

...A good series to emerge from the sea of crap that constantly surrounds the grand majority of newgrounds. It has an original idea and it IS funny. Very funny. I watched both episodes and they were both great. That christian rock song really cracked me up! Its been MONTHS since i left a review to somebody, but this REALLY made me do it, Its that good!

Keep it up! i look foward for more episodes!

[O.N.E.]

Technically its great...

Yes, the animation is VERY good, but only technically. Why do people rate movies here just by how good it is technically. What about content? It is content where this fails miserably: 2 dolls dancing along the crappiest "music" on the planet. And the guy below me saying "you cant blame foreigners for listening to our crap music"...What doest that mean? Im a foreigner and I know its crap music. That comment just doesnt say anything...

Im giving it a 5 just because how wonderful the fluid animation was, but the movie as a whole, i just didn't like it, mainly because of the music.

[The Head - The Leg]

Very interesting...

This is a very interesting animation. Not only is your style totally unique, but what you do with that style is just amazing. A lot of people are not going to like it saying stuff like "It has no point" which is shame because this movie is not about plot, it is a movie that makes you dream and think, taking you to places you never seen before and that for me is what truly makes a good flash. And as for people that say it has not point, does everything need to have a point? life doesn't have a point. Why should some animations have one?
Anyways, excellent work and I look foward for more of your work.

[Objectionable Apparatus]

This is what frontpage movies should be like...

Finally, after weeks and weeks of being angry for the kind of crap that gets frontpage while the real art gets lost in the portal...this arrives AND makes it to frontpage. Just the kind of stuff I love: a unique style and a very thought provoking flash. There is really not much to say about this flash, one just has to experience it.

[Surface]

There is potential...

Overall, pretty interesting story. But there are a few problems...
1) Ripping off the Chrono Trigger logo pissed me off.
2)WAY too many flash backs for the same scene. Like the scene where the mother talks to him must have been repeated like 5 times! WE know what she said!
3)He talked too much about eveything he saw. Instead of that, you should let the visuals and art do the talking. Let the audience think instead of being spoon fed every tiny bit of information.
4)The animation looked rushed. It looked like you were too lazy on putting eyes to people. You can draw and animate better than that.
Anyways, it is still a good flash and has potential for a great series. I just hope as the story develops that it doesn't start getting repetive and pointless, like Xin (started out great, but as it went on, it become the same stuff over and over, going nowhere.)

[The Match]

Another generic stick fighting...

Wow its so original, he uses matchsticks instead of sticks!...please. I've said this so many times in so many reviews, but i feel like newgrounds is run by a bunch of little kids that think a good animation makes a good flash and thanks to that, this shit is going straight to the frontpage, while great flashes get lost in the portal. There is something called content, something that most flashes don't have. Specially the generic mindless fighting that is poluting the portal. Least he could do is something original, but no...same old fighting we have seen over and over again. So yeah, I gave it a 4 because the animation is great, but no content makes your good animation pointless.

[Sloppy Fight 2]

Ok..

First of all, the animation is amazing- no doubt about that. But there are three things that bother me in this flash. 1) I hate the typical NG movie, mindless sticks beating each other up. Its been done to death before, please come up with something original.
2) When will people stop using that Matrix song. It seems that every action movie incorporates Matrix influenced stuff. Come on people lets be creative.
3) It puzzles me that you decided to use stick figures. You obviously have talent because of your control with the animation so why in the hell do you stay with sticks!? Were you lazy or something?

[METAL Saint Seiya]

I love Saint Seiya anime...

...But the content in here is disgraceful; I laughed at the cheesiness of this flash. Saint Seiya characters signing to the theme song. However, i see that you can draw the characters just like the original anime. You have the potential to get serious and do an amazing tribute to Saint Seiya. But please, no more of this.

[The Real Legend 2]

Its OK

Technically, the animation is really good. It looks good and it moves very good. But thats about it for me. I've seen better Zelda spoofs in terms of content and content for me is more important. This was obviously something that was supposed to be funny, but i didnt think it was. I also didn't like how you make Link a total idiot. It reminded me of the Zelda Cartoon show in the 80's (which was a crappy show) where he was also- an idiot. Besides not being funny, there were some parts that were really embarassing. I'm talking about the Kill Bill part; imitating something from pop culture is not going to make it funny, its no even amusing for me- its just stupid. Anyways, great animation, but please, more substance into your work and if its supposed to be funny- make it so.
